The Baring Foundation has embarked on a 5 year programme to explore the subject of the arts and creative aging. They have published a large number of useful reports and funded initiatives on the subject. Their work includes the following:

- Ageing Artfully – a UK-wide mapping study looking at older people and participatory arts projects
- Tackling Loneliness in Older Age: The Role of the Arts
Arts 4 Dementia – an organisation that seeks to empower people with memory loss through artistic stimulation.
